A GUI client application for Downloading Installing and Playing Americas Army 2.5 on Windows, Mac and Linux with a new custom authorization system. On the server side a Desktop server manager for Windows, Mac and Linux and a Command line dedicated server manager for Windows and Linux. Backend server components include a replacement authorization system using the Battletracker account & stats database and a PunkBuster log streaming server which records players possible cheating activities.

Bringing the best features of the previous versions to a new America's Army environment, America's Army: Proving Grounds stresses small unit tactical maneuvers and training that echoes true-to-life Army scenarios. AA: PG reflects the current day Army by focusing on these smaller self-contained, full spectrum units that can carry out a variety of objectives during missions.

You will need an existing Americas Army 2.5 installation to use the 2.5 assist dedicated server. You can use a fresh install of aa or you can use the installation from a 2.5Assist GUI install. If you do not already have aa installed it can be downloaded here:
